We are thrilled to welcome you back for one of the community’s most beloved traditions. With Highway 1 open and Big Sur more inviting than ever, this year promises to be extra special.
Each year, the Big Sur River Run brings together runners, walkers, families, and friends for one of the most special community events on the coast. Set among the redwoods and along the Big Sur River, the event offers a 5K walk/run and a certified, chip-timed 10K run, all while supporting two vital local organizations: Big Sur Fire and the Big Sur Health Center. Every registration helps support the people and services that keep Big Sur healthy, safe, and strong.
Last year, we celebrated a record-breaking 719 participants. This year, with the road open and excitement building, we are setting our sights even higher — our goal is 1,000 participants!
